The Godin SD is an amazing value, with a rock maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard.  It has a Les Paul 24 3/4 scale with a 24 fret neck, and hit a wide array of tones with 2 Godin single coils and a Godin Humbucker.  

It's made in Canada, and the Godin instrument family includes a pretty broad array of high-end instruments.

According to Godin's dating system, this guitar was made either in the last week of 1998 or the first week of 1999.
