We have the best of both worlds here today - a 2007-2010 Made in Japan Fender Mustang Special neck (s/n T012705) coupled to a Candy Apply Red 2001 made in Mexico Fender Cyclone Body resulting in a low maintenance easy to play and and service guitar with the same single coil in the neck and a humbucker in the bridge position that the Jag-Stang uses without the weight and has a Stratocaster style tremolo which short of a hard tail would have to be the most simple and functional tremolo system around.
